What is the FUE Technique?
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is one of the first methods that comes to mind when it comes to hair transplantation. The feature of the FUE method is that no incision is made on the scalp; This provides an advantage both during the operation and during the healing process. In addition, the fact that there will be no scars and incisions after the operation increases the preference for patients.

What are the Stages of the FUE Method?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. After the area where the hair to be transplanted will be taken is prepared for the procedure, the hair follicles in suitable condition are collected one by one. Root collection is performed with incision tips smaller than 1 mm (between 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm) via the FUE motor. Received follicles (Graft) contain 2-3 hairs. It is very important that the roots are not damaged at this time. Since thousands of roots will be removed from the donor area during hair transplantation, the smallness of the tip to be used affects the healing process of the area.
After all the hair roots are collected, planting is started after the separation. Channels must be opened very carefully for the sowing process. Root canal opening is a process that requires precision and experience as much as root collection.
The lateral slit method, which has recently started to be preferred instead of the punch system when opening the canal, makes the incisions suitable for the structure of the hair and provides the opening of the channels suitable for the size and length of the patient’s hair follicle. The channels opened in the right size and depth affect the regrowth rate of the transplanted hair in hair transplantation.
Another important issue is the angle of the canal where the hair follicle will be transplanted. The angles, which are the biggest factors in capturing the natural hairstyle, should be given differently in each part of the head. Otherwise, the hair will not take the desired shape. Another factor for capturing naturalness is the correct determination of the hairline. The forehead area and the area where the hair starts should be calculated with the correct proportions.
What Should Be Considered After the Operation?
After the operation, just like in Robotic Hair Surgery and DHI method, the first day is checked, followed by washing after 48 hours and continues for 10 days as in the others. The hair that comes out of the transplanted hair follicles will grow in 2-3 weeks, but then the hair will fall out. This situation is temporary. After a few weeks of resting, the hair starts to grow again and returns to its normal state after 6 months. It may take longer for the hair in some areas to reach this state.
